Emotionally Healthy Spirituality

My Iceberg

When we ignore the emotional component of our lives, we start “going through the motions” of Christian disciplines, activities, and behaviors.

Know Yourself

An awareness of ourselves is intricately related to our relationship with God.

Going Back to Go Forward

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality involves embracing God’s choice to birth us into a particular family, in a particular place, at a particular moment in history.

Through the Wall

Just as a physical wall stops us from moving ahead, sometimes God uses a spiritual wall to radically transform our character.

Enlarging Our Soul

Loss is the place where self-knowledge and transformation happen—if we have the courage to participate fully in the process.

Rhythms & Disciplines

God offers us a way to root our lives in Him deeply. Not another “to-do” to our already busy schedules, but resetting our lives toward a new destination—God himself.

Emotional Adulting

The goal of the Christian life is to love well; true spirituality includes not only loving God, but also the skill of loving others maturely.

Now What?

We are called to order our entire lives in such a way that the love of God comes before all else. This call transforms our lives into a gift to our families, friends, coworkers, and communities.
