Grief Recovery Alumni
If you've previously completed our 8-week Grief Recovery program, we invite you to join a special 4-week in-person group designed to help you continue your healing journey. This is a FREE program.
Begins Tuesday, June 24th at 6:30 pm
Attendance at all 4 sessions is required.
This program provides a safe space to reflect on what you've learned about loss, explore your beliefs about grief, and take actionable steps toward hope and healing.

Community Groups
Our Summer Community Groups are beginning July 2nd. Most of them meet every 2nd & 4th week through August. These are small groups that meet in people’s homes all across the Santa Clarita Valley. If you want to join a group or get some more information, click HERE.

Kids Camp | UNAFRAID
It's Summer camp time...Camp Cedar Crest. This camp is for our 4th-6th graders. Cost is $325, but wait, we have an early bird special and discounts.

If you've been married for 10 years or less, leaders Erick and Stacy Lee want to invite you to join them and other young marrieds' couples for a time of connection and learning at the Lee’s home. Men you're not on deck , you're not in the hole, you're up and the world is watching. What are you prepared to do? Let's find the answers together. On Saturday, July 19th at 8:00 am the Sanctuary Men's Ministry will be having a Men's Meeting. This gathering promises to be one of enlightenment, empowerment, and encouragement for men seeking to advance to the next level in their pursuit of Christ, and His purpose for their lives. Cost is $12, burritos and coffee are provided. Deadline to register is July 17th.

Women’s Hume Lake Retreat
Join us for our Fall Women's Retreat at Hume Lake Christian Camp!
Details:
You must put down your deposit of $200 by March 31st to receive the early bird rate of $395.

If you’d like to share a room/bed with a friend, please let us know who that is. We will do everything we can to accommodate every request.
There is limited space if you wish to go with The Sanctuary. Once registration closes here, you may still have an opportunity to register for the retreat directly with Hume depending on availability.
We will have an information meeting 2-4 weeks before the retreat where we’ll go over details like what to pack and not pack. ;-) Date and time are TBD. This will also be an opportunity to arrange carpooling with other ladies.
Our church has rented 3 cabins that sleep 10 each. Each cabin is two story, will have stairs, and there are some bunk beds. If you need any special accommodations, please email Pastor Debbie at dwalker@thesanctuarychurch.com and we will let you know if that’s possible.
Ages: All women ages 18 and up
Activities:
Hume Lake offers a long list of FUN activities: archery, hatchet throwing, high ropes, massage therapy, off-road jeep tours, pickleball, trail walking, and portraits by the lake.
Some activities may have a nominal fee.

Gal Pal Day - Apricot Lane Farms
Ready for a little summer adventure? Our first Gal Pal Day is set for Saturday, June 28th from 9-11am, and we’re heading to the beautiful Apricot Lane Farms in Moorpark! Join us for a refreshing two-hour walking tour through 234 acres of organic goodness. After the tour, stick around to grab some fresh, farm-to-table produce from their Weekend Farmstand. Cost is $60. Kick off your summer with a splash as we come together to celebrate our incredible 8th and 12th grade graduates! Whether you’re ready to dive in or just chill poolside, this is the place to be.

Men’s Ministry Exchange
Join us as the men of Sanctuary partner with the men of Restoration Church for a powerful morning of fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and spiritual wisdom. This free event is an opportunity to connect, grow, and strengthen one another as brothers in Christ.

Mommy’s Mind Matters is meeting throughout the month, and we’d love for you to join us! Our goal is to build a strong community while enjoying time with our children and one another. MEN… you’re invited to join us in reading this powerful book that invites men to take a probing look at their identities, relationships, finances, time, temperament, and the means to bring about lasting change in their lives. The first meeting will be Saturday, February 15th @ 8:30am in the Kids Wing, 4,5,6 classroom (we’re meeting for 90 minutes every-other Saturday). Join us for coffee and breakfast burritos for a small cost and some lively discussion on creating positive change in our lives! Don’t forget to register.

Volunteer Opportunity: Golden Valley Scholarship Banquet at The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is honored to present 20 Golden Valley High School seniors with $500 scholarships to celebrate their hard work, perseverance, and bright futures in higher education. To make this a truly special and formal event, we need volunteers to help bring it to life!
This is an opportunity to serve and uplift these incredible students as we recognize their achievements. Whether you enjoy welcoming guests, serving food, or working behind the scenes, there’s a place for you to make a difference.
Volunteer Positions Available:
Table Host/Server – Assist with serving and ensure guests feel welcomed
Set-Up Crew – Help prepare the venue for this special night
Tear-Down Crew – Stay after to restore the space
Parking Lot Usher – Guide guests as they arrive
Check-In Table – Greet and check in attendees
Coffee Cart Baristas – Serve refreshments as guests arrive
